The first day has come and gone. Arrived around noon by car and went directly to the supermarket for some food for on the hotel room and sandwiches during the day.

Then we picked up the badges, I read somewhere this starts at 3 but registration was already open at 1.30pm.
Went to the hotel with an Uber and checked in, better room than last year. With a view of the shuttle bus stop, so know exactly when to leave the room every morning. Handy!

Around 5pm we went back to the convention center and lined up for Ballroom 20, found great seats in the front. The first preview was Supergirl. It looks great, a bit of a corny start, but then again most of these shows need to grow. The second one was Blindspot and well it was pretty uninspiring and awful. Third one was Containment, looks good but one of the main characters has a bit of a Denzel Washington wannabe air around him. The last one was Lucifer, it was great. Laughs, witty all there. But the big question is can the writers keep this up?

The exhibit hall was already closed at 9.30pm so went to a screening of The Gallows. Couldn’t make the premiere yesterday at the Hollywood Highschool, so glad I didn’t miss it all. But it was pretty predictable.
Tomorrow the real fun begins.
