Just one more day before the San Diego Comic Con 2015 starts. First up is Preview Night, for those who have managed to get a ticket, I was lucky.
Already packed most of my things, here’s what I’m taking/recommend:
- GoPro (with small hand stick, extending sticks are prohibited now)
- Video camera (you never know)
- Photo cameras (two again you never know)
- iPhone (twitter, photos)
- iPad (reading up on things)
- PS Vita (Persona 4)
- Kindle (reading)
- Extra battery packs + chargers and cables
- Pain killer (god forbid you’ll get some kind of headache during the day and ruin it all)
- Refillable water bottles (free refills everywhere)
- Blister bandaids and normal ones
- Regular toiletries
- Cloths (duh)
- Good shoes
- Electric kettle
- Coffee and instant noodle bowls (late snacks and early bites)
- Printouts of all your confirmation emails (badges, hotel, train etc)
First thing we’ll do when we arrive is drop off bags at our hotel and pick up our badges, but then we will probably make a quick stop at Ralph’s for some snacks for during the day. I do not recommend getting anything at the convention center, it’s all over priced and pretty disgusting. The Gaslamp Quarter restaurants charge a bit too much for what you get in return, I usually go for one or two good meals (check yelp) and home made sandwiches the rest of the time.
At 6PM it all starts with Preview Night. Check the link: http://sched.co/3kPO and at 10PM a free screening of The Gallows: https://www.wbtickets.com/main/movie_landing/R0FMTE9XU0NPTUlDQ09O
